Workshops (All times listed are EST)
NOTE: As stated in the description of our workshops, every participant is invited to submit approximately 2 to 4 pages per week (~1000 words, cleanly formatted, 12 pt. font, double or 1.5 spacing, normal margins). This page limit is what makes it possible for all participants to receive feedback at every meeting. Equally important, by concentrating on smaller units of writing, it allows us to drill down on craft, and it keeps the volume of reading to a manageable level. Exceptions of an extra page or two are fine on occasion, but please respect the page limit as much as possible as a courtesy to the facilitator and your fellow workshop participants. Pages sent the day of the meeting will be held in reserve to be discussed the following week.

Facilitator: Joni Cole

This class can’t help you find more hours in a day (or maybe it can?!), but it will help you make the most of the time you do have for writing. How? By being part of a community that has your back and holds you gently accountable. This workshop provides weekly deadlines that are doable and yet still assure progress. We’ll also do guided goal setting and share productivity hacks. Unlike boot camp approaches, this accountability workshop is geared toward making your writing practice more inviting…and hence more rewarding. We’ll also offer instructive feedback, and do some in-class writing fed by prompts and a collective energy. Space is limited. To register, contact the facilitator at: jonibethcole@gmail.com.
